Thanks, everyone!

I'll let you know how it goes. I ordered a pair of clear lens
progressives in "super thin" from eyebuydirect (1.6) with metal frames
and a pair of sunglasses in 1.5 with a fairly thick plastic frame.

I had my prescription checked, and it is now -3.0 in the right and
-4.75 in the left. Go figure. So the glasses are with the newest
prescription.

My PD is 61, I'm not sure if that is narrow or wide, and the width of
my last few pair of glasses has been right at 140 mm give or take a
couple, they seem to fit my face well.

I'll give an update when they arrive with my thoughts, I think I
mentioned this is my first time buying online. But getting two pair
for under $300 is a real treat when I'm used to paying more than that
for a single pair locally.

I didn't see the polished edges as an option at Eyebuydirect, so maybe
my next pair, it definitely sounds like good advice (my current pair
has polished edges, I never realized it until reading your messages)

Thanks again,
Brian
