I went for a few years (right after I switched to progressives from single vision lenses) where my prescription didn't change at all.
This time (a few weeks ago) I was told my distance vision is improving but my near (reading) vision has gotten worse. My doctor said that happens sometimes and if I live to be 150 or so I won't need glasses at all except for reading. Something to shoot for, I guess. I don't know what happened to the CYL, I don't have my old prescriptions anywhere that I can find them.
