Guilty as charged.
I work on computers for a living...while at their house, checking
their internet, I'll bring up Zenni or Coastal Contacts. It's almost
certainly a site that hadn't been cached, so it's a good test, anyway.
And, then I simply tell people about them...and about the objective
parts of my experience.
You're right, $8 glasses sound preposterous to most people. But, when
I tell them that my ophthalmologist checked them out, and they match
perfectly, they usually seem more willing to listen. My suggestion is
usually to just match up what they have already in terms of style and
size, and order a test pair. At $8, or so, it'll either work or it
won't. And, if it doesn't work, they have a great deductible donation
to the Lion's Club.
Zenni, Zenni, Zenni, Zenni...
I definitely (ZENNI) don't push, (ZENNI) though. (ZENNI)
