Guilty as charged...pushing online glasses.
I am starting to conclude that most people are just unbelievabley
lazy, sad to say.
It does take SOME effort to get glasses for $8-$100 instead of $400-
$600 and apparently a lot of people figure its worth paying that
difference for EACH pair, rather than invest the effort.

I hopefully bought my last pair of storefront glasses, as I hedged my
bet after a rough learning curve online.
Incidently through an "insurance misunderstanding" I went from paying
$180 for that storefront pair to $330 delivered.
I find it interesting that even with "insurance" coverage, the shops
manage to pump up the price to $400 or so. (based on my last couple of
attempts)

Since then I have finally bought 3 pairs online.....lets see, thats
about $1500 of glasses for just over $100.
To ME that is worth fiddling with measuring, figuring out how to input
scripts, trying to find and figure out "try me on" options online, and
yes, even losing playing Zenni roulette. ( I ended up with success
through a different source)

My wife is vacillating buying at a store or online. I am hoping to
guide her through the process or maybe she can get a Costco pair and I
can help her buy her first online pair.

I know this forum really helped me get through the learning curve!
