Hm...That's not a very long life.  And Irene is right; many online
frames are not as sturdy.

On the other hand, sometimes you have a frame that is normally robust,
but a glitch in the manufacturing process makes one pair have a
defect.  I've worked in manufacturing enough to know that happens; a
thousand are made to specs, but someone's fake fingernail fell into a
vat, and the result was one with a hidden flaw.

I'd follow bhyde's advice and just order a new frame.  Sure, you could
fight with Zenni and maybe get it for free, but for the ten bucks it's
hardly worth the effort.
