You'd have to ask him what he exactly means, but I don't read it that
way. I think he fundamentally disagrees with the IPCC consensus on ice
sheet dynamics, though he readily condedes that that isn't his core
area of expertise.

While I've only read the draft of the latest IPCC report (as have you),
I don't think there'll be a material change in the IPCC estimates for
sea level change in the 2007 version.
