I don't think that was his whole argument. As far as I know from your reply above, you may well be completely convinced by the physics of albedo, even if you don't think the paleo record is a slam dunk. Also, the physics/earth science of albedo is something to study, measure, all that. Seems a good scientific paper from the standpoint of lots of stuff there to try to refute. I assume you are saying the paleo record is ambiguous on the matter?
