Today I read a statement in the popular press that strikes me as absurd, but
is it true?
"The world must reduce carbon emissions by 90% by 2030 to avert an ecosystem
collapse..."
The quote appeared in "The Stay-at-Home Vacation", Hannah Karp Jan 18, 2008
_Wall Street Journal_ page W3 and is attributed to a 2007 book, "Heat: How
to Stop the Planet From Burning," by Guardian columnist George Monbiot.
