I'm just outside Toronto and own 415 CD # 4861 - fabric wings with C75-12F... over the past few months have been trying to identify and cure an oil leak .. bottom line is that after changing just about everything once, and the front seal 3 times, a small amount of oil still manages to make it from the back of the spinner to cloud my windshield. I've had solid advice from a number of sources about the seal replacement process, and in the last process some additional fine sanding was done. I've also been told that if this didn't work, I need to consider the future of the aircraft - at least a crankshaft replacement. I'd appreciate any insight or suggestions from the groups' experience. The aircraft is NOT under the new Canadian owner mtce. protocol and the work has been done by licenced shops/mechanics.
