If you have the stromberg carbuerator it does not have an idle cut off and
must be shut off with the key, untill I put in the 0-200 that is the way I
did it for 17 years with no problem. Jim N87349 Note: the continental
engine
operators hand book states that the throttle should be opened at the same
time as the ignition is turned off to prevent after firing(pre ignition) I
never did that and mine always shut off ok.
