I turn my engine off by shutting off the gas as I taxi in to the parking spot. That way, I run out of gas. It is an attempt to avoid the accidental start, which the lean-to-engine-dies method is used. I also shut the gas off because the head pressure may push gas past the float needle and through the carb. Leaves a nice puddle of fuel for a passing smoker, or a nice fire on the next startup attempt. Costs gas, too (not cheap = 2.50/gal) Percy in Portland ================================================================== TO UNSUBSCRIBE go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
