Thanks for the answers! Well I never turn more than 2350rpm. My
tanks were completley full, and there was little wind to speak of. The
highest I got was 2000ft. I normally cruise at 120mph indicated. And i
didnt lean.
I brought my coupe the whole way home from Florida (11 hours) and I
didnt lean at all. We pulled the plugs and they were spotless! Once I get
an EGT put in, I will start to lean. I would like to see around 5.8gph at
120mph. I want to fly about 2.5-3 hour legs. I am trying not to have to
put in the 15 gallon tanks.
Climb is better though. Yesterday was 90 degrees and I had 13
gallons total fuel and about 340 pounds of people and we used a 1300 foot
grass strip with trees and had some room to spare.
