When I flew from Seattle to Illinios for the 1999 nationals I got around 4.5 gal/hr when I leaned (7000ft). That was at about 2500 RPM. I have found that if you get a cessna 150 POH which has an O-200 in it the perf charts in there are fairly accurate for fuel burn and even speed. -Tom -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, June 25, 2002 5:09 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [COUPERS-FLYIN] O-200 fuel burn and range ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Hi all, I have the O-200 in my G model and today I was a little dissapointed. I flew about 150 miles and used about 14 gallons of gas. Is this the norm?? I didnt lean so maybe that is the problem. So for you guys with O-200's what is your average fuel burn and range? I would like to make Daytona from Howell (about 819nm) without 6 stops.
