Here my Guess. The Forney 415C,CD,D,E, and G models are from the time when Erco Ercoupes have been re - registered or changed hands and Forney wasthe Producer of the planes. (Still a 415, but a Forney F) Now when older 415s where being put into the FAA database they became Forneys of course, because ERCO was dead. This all changed with the ALON.
