Ed, The statement of "If you can find an FAA person with an IQ above room temperature" I can relate too. Working in this FSDO has given me great insight to the workings of the FAA. Now that I am a Chilled Brain Inspector, I have to conform and enforce the standards that the civilian populace has given me to enforce. You voted them in, we are stuck with the rules that come with that decision. But some of us haven't forgotten who we are and what its really about. Harlmut, I do not agree with you as far as the safety of the straight tail as compared to the split tail. Both are great, safe aircraft. The split tail just allows for slower speed ops. You just have to know the limits of the airplane you are operating. It's the pilot, in this case, that makes the safe operations. I would change to the split tail if I could find a tail for the right price. But I have not the money to pay for a new one at Univairs prices. You are correct in the change of registration. It takes time for the change to take effect in the FAA's database. I have seen the building that keeps all this stuff and its totally amazing of the amount of work these few people have. Plus they are contrators. If the paperwork was filed correctly then AFS-750, Aircraft Registration office, will issue an amended registration certificate IAW FAA Order 8130.2D Page 15 Para 28. Sorry to hear that you couldn't get the C-90 installed. Alan ================================================================== TO UNSUBSCRIBE go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
