The wing tanks are OK it all came from the pump then up to the header tank. I presently have all the plumbing out of the plane including the valve and finger strainer. I have about 5 gallons of stale gas I drained out of another plane. I was going to screw a hose barb into the header tank drain and run the hose through the hole in the firewall left by the tubing from the tank then down to a container. I'll strain the gas into the header to insure I don't add crud. Initially I'll have the drain hose pinched so I can watch the initial flow. I'll then drain the header into a fine mesh strainer watching for crud. If I do this several times, rocking the plane laterally & longitudinally I hope to get it clear. I'll let everyone know how this works. I have an inspection light I can put inside the tank. I wish I had a bore scope--I might just get one of those cheap ones.
