Very good to know you found the cause for the problem on the ground rather
than high up somewhere.
As for the overhaul, I recommend to get yourself the treatment of a O-200
crank with the O-200 STC.
from Aircraft Specialties.
That gives you a few more horses (than a C-85 crank would give you)
without having to change a lot on
the Aircraft itself, something you would have to when switching over to a
O-200 engine.
