OK here's the skinny on the Ercoupe models. Just talked to Alan Wieck and he said that it would be ok for anyone to call him at home..... Seems that the plans were $30.00 ... 80 inch wing span. He had all of the wood laser cut for another $385.00. from another company Then he had another kit cut for a 60 inch wing. He has not started building them yet but confirms that the laser cuts were very good. Then there is the landing gear. If you want the real pneumatic type it might set you back another 2-3 hundrerd, but for a normal gear it would only take a normal spring type. He says to call anytime and he will be glad to give you all of the specs. By the way, He saw Skip Carden the other day . Seems that Fred was inducted into the aviation hall of fame where he lived..
