I find gmail's label/tag system highly confusing.
There's this email that i can find using a simple text search, but it has
no labels attached to it, and as far as i know it has no system labels
attached to it either (i've double checked the "folders" manually just to
be sure).
Where is unlabeled mails supposed to be anyway? And this "All Mail" folder
that is supposedly all my emails no matter what label has perhaps 20 mails
in it (there's at least 200+ conversations in this account) - so what good
is it for?
I've tried combinations of advanced search techniques such as:
*has:nouserlabels
-in:Inbox -in:Draft -in:Sent* (which doesn't seem to work very well btw
since it does indeed show items from things it explicitly shouldn't, such
as the inbox).
This is all using the standard web interface btw.

Appreciate any help you can give me guys. I can'αΊ— stand when things don't
make sense to me.
