You can change it, there just isn't a nice way. Sorry You can also  
find the shortcut listed if you go to View->Sidebars->Gmarks. Go to  
about:config and search for gmarks.keys.sidebar. You can find a  
description of the available values for the modifier field (which can  
be a space separated list) at 
https://developer.mozilla.org/en/XUL/Attribute/modifiers 
  You will need to restart Firefox.
