Oh I use both toolbar items (the one you described, and the one that opens
the sidebar).
Allow me to restate my question.
ON the toolbar, I have a few bookmarks (not icons, not buttons, but Firefox
bookmarks .,... on the toolbar, ready to click). my 400 other bookmarks
are in google-bookmarks ... portable everywhere. I've used google
bookmarks for a year or two, and I am unaware of an obvious way to make the
TOOLBAR set of bookmarks portable.
No need to describe workarounds (I certainly can copy the toolbar bookmarks
into google-bookmarks in its own special label) ...
but if gmarks had a way to do this it would be nice (for instance if
gmarks maintained a special hidden label so it could force google to save to
toolbar bookmarks)
I work on at least 3 different machines (home desktop, laptop, work desktop
.. and sometimes when i visit my parents or something s... so portability is
a very nice thing for me)
Thanks again for your time and attention!
