  Clarification of my intent:  I am not saying things *should* be this way,
just that they currently are, and have been.  Personally, I believe GNHLUG
could use a more organization -- but that belief is not so strong that I am
willing to get off my a** and do something about it.  Like Paul, I am
actively sitting here waiting for all our problems to go away.  ;-)

  If you, Sir, or anyone else, was willing to step forward and do all the
hard work, you would have the gratitude of myself and many other GNHLUGers.  
Alas, gratitude is a poor currency.

  This idea just occurred to me: How does BLU (Boston Linux Users) handle
this stuff?  Can we learn from them?
