It is simply what you do in order to get things done when several people are requried to accomplish something that takes time and will continue for some duration. My question is, since we know this is what it takes for a project to work, why do we assume GNHLUG does not need a similar level of organization? > We would, of course, need to approach libraries about this as well. > Has > that been done by anyone? Like will we distribute OSS for Windows as well as Linux? How will we interact with the new group in Nashua which is dedicated to providing OSS software, instruction, and assistance to libraries and non-profit organizations in NH? I will have more info on this next week, but I approached a local library and they were enthusiastic. In fact their tech/internet access/computer training operation for patrons is handled by a non-profit that covers the northern part of NH and that organization may want to expand it throughout the northern half of the state. So the interest and willingness seems to be there and the issue seems to me to be the ability to server the need as opposed to creating the willingness. I think this shows the shift which has taken place in the past two years or less. Once the issue was getting people to take Linux and OSS seriously or at all. Now it is a question of finding ways to facilitate its use as many are now willing to try it.
