-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've just become aware of a botnet attack against www.gnhlug.org. It was fairly sophisticated in that they attacked during "normal" hours, hid their changes under a DIV ID=wikitikitavi, ... and from a bunch of different IPs. The registered user that the defacing was done by has been moved to Main.HallOfShame.
I'm contemplating making most of the pages change-protected by TWikiAdminGroup. Should I make it another group, and if so, what should I name the new group (e.g. PeopleWhoCanChangeWebPages)? This sorta goes against the Wiki grain, but I'm not sure how else to handle this. - --Bruce -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFDW4wE/TBScWXa5IgRAtLKAJ9bYLggHyYOAKtJjIBtha827fmhUACfd8jY VvrcqGvikTUyjbKYcpGMsqY= =/c7t -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ gnhlug-org mailing list gnhlug-org@mail.gnhlug.org http://mail.gnhlug.org/mailman/listinfo/gnhlug-org
