Hi,
When I fresh installed the RH6.1 server
last Saturday, I setup the IPMasq setup using my previous configs that I
had tarred up beforehand...RH6.0 used pppd ver 2.3.7 and RH6.1 uses pppd
2.3.10 and it seems to have been changed...The first error I get with
the pppd 2.3.10 is a quick disconnect and the debug log says it can't
authorize the remote system. Since I have a dynamic IP I simply added a
"noauth" command in the /etc/ppp/options file and that allows me to
connect but it deosn't seem to add the ppp connection as the
defaultroute as the log shows..
I'm using KPPP as the front end to this and if I uninstall the 2.3.10
pppd, and replace it with 2.3., the problem seems to disappear...Maybe
there are changes in the KPPP app...??? Anyone seen this? PPPlog
