I'm trying to add a second ethernet device to my machine.
I'm not having much luck. When I add the second card it can't
resolve the IP address off my cable modem.(eth0) Both cards are
identical.
I tried adding another line to /etc/conf/modules:
alias eth0 tulip
alias eth1 tulip
I added an interface using netcfg.
In linuxconf under basic host info I assigned individual IRQ's.
eth0 uses IRQ12.
I added an append line to LILO.
I read the 'Multiple Ethernet Adapter Mini-HowTo'.
I'd appreciate guidance.
