well here's my 2 cents :) ive been coming for quit a while now and still don't know who people are, i know this is partially my fault because i never introduce myself unless need be, sorry. i think as a whole we should pay more attention to new comers and great them accordingly and make them feel more ' at home ' then just an attendee. i have been to novel user groups ( im sorry again ) and they are not very friendly at all. infact one  meeting i went to was almost over before anyone said who they were and that's when the pizza showed up, don't know if the best time is during the social side of the event but its better than not doing it at all.

somewhere in this thread i saw something about the general gist of a meeting ( too slow, not technical enough and so on..... ) i think most of the meetings are show and tell, which is fine but maybe somewhere along the lines we should have more technical events or something like that. we have users of all levels here and a mix-up would be really nice.

well thanks for reading and everyone have a nice weekend.

sincerely,
Christopher M Downs
