Don't have experience with "hail" (is it a new version of Stormix?),
but I have used the "rain" version as a base install, then reset the
sources.list in /etc/apt, and did the upgrades to a full debian. Only
problem I had was that "rain" did not have the right info to configure
Xfree for my card (an S3 Trio3D card - problems with most distros).
Good idea of seeing if we can get some "freebies" from them for
prizes.
