ABSOLUTELY! Try djbware! http://cr.yp.to
djbdns has it all, and none of the security cruft of VixieWare! (Note
recent explot alerts for both vixiecron and BIND, on an almost weekly
basis) Local cache, external cahe, authoratative server!
DJB writes tight, secure, no-bullshit server apps! Look at qmail - no
reported remote explots since June of 1998 - the last release.
Plus his stuff is more configurable than sendmail/BIND!
Kurth and I will pontificate on the virtues of qmail at the March GNHLUG
meeting, against anyone who wishes to challenge us.
