i'd like to point out tho..the first vuln bugtraq recorded was a sendmail problem. :-)
why you would use something that has a horrible security record and that
has to be updated every 5 min. It reminds me of Internet Explorer. IE
version 5.055.5.666788456.345.ABC.5-5 is differnt in some way from
5.055.5.666788456.345.ABC.5-4.5.
If you have nothing to do all day and wish to run old, insecure software
use sendmail. I just don't understand it.
I no longer with to fight about this, I will gather information to support
my claims of qmail being a better MTA. Then I will present them to the
list or at a meeting or what not.
