  I presume you mean "--force"?  A word to the wise: Use that switch with
great care, or preferably, never.  If RPM thinks something is wrong, listen
to it.  Remember, binary packages depend heavily on the environment they
were built in.  There is a reason package managers are so picky about
things.  The fact that RPM cannot find whatever you *know* you have
installed is not a good sign; it is likely that the program you are trying
to install will have trouble as well.
