It much depends on the airport.
One of the issues that is coming up is that they are being much
stricter about unattended luggage. If she is getting a ride to the
airport and the airport is bigger than, say for instance, the terminal
here in Portsmouth, there should be security folks that would be
willing to give her a hand in.
One of the biggest pieces of advice (that worked before current events)
is to show up very early. Now it's even more true.
