Has there ever been a major release *WITHOUT* a change in the firewalling code? ;-) I have to say, thogh, every time has been a change for the better. IPTables is a great improvement over IPChains, wich was an incredible step up from ipfwadm. For anyone that has not yet looked at IPTables, there is a great tutorial at http://www.boingworld.com/workshops/linux/iptables-tutorial/.
