You don't need to be! IPCHAINS is supported by 2.4! I think there are some essoteric features that are missing, but most of the stuff that gets used is in there. You can compile as a module or compile it in, but in the latter case only if you don't select the netfilter stuff first... Compiling in (or more specifically, a non-modular kernel) is better from a security standpoint, btw. - -- - --------------------------------------------------- Derek Martin | Unix/Linux geek [EMAIL PROTECTED] | GnuPG Key ID: 0x81CFE75D Retrieve my public key at http://pgp.mit.edu -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE7vyX0djdlQoHP510RAn3WAJ9pY4jlaMiRXW0+IHRcdyaBZYTNagCfZ+Wv zZTrpgoiI+lF0fgaxQmdPj4= =9XnC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ********************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the following text in the *body* (*not* the subject line) of the letter: unsubscribe gnhlug **********************************************************
