I generally find KDE lacks flexibility in the "I want to do it my way" department. GNOME might not be as polished, but is more tweakable. (Note: This may not apply as much to newer versions of KDE.) > Paul (who, after playing with sawfish yesterday and KDE today, is > more convinced than ever that fvwm2 is far better and easier to > configure than either! :) You can use fvwm2 with GNOME and/or KDE if you want. There is even supposed to be a GNOME-ized fvwm2. I am guessing that might be a good thing for you to investigate. :-) -- Ben Scott <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | The opinions expressed in this message are those of the author and do not | | necessarily represent the views or policy of any other person, entity or | | organization.
