I've been dealing with Mindspring/Earthlink for close to 5 years now and have had absolutely no problems. They do not officially support Linux, but if you call up their tech support, and you're really nice, and you ask specifically to speak with someone who knows about Linux/UNIX, you'll probably get your answers pretty quickly. Of course, I've only had to do this once, since my problem was authentication related. Once I got my ppp scripts set up properly, I've never had to call them for anything :) It all just works! Hope that helps! (oh, and earthlink has some highspeed options like DSL, satellite, ISDN, etc. as well, but I don't know anything about them.) - -- Seeya, Paul -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Exmh version 2.2 06/23/2000 (debian 2.2-1) iD8DBQE8yYzeuweSOVPxKO4RAgA9AKDKrzze+nnru8HNoosi3shSYRD8CgCfQmMg kfo8BStUCLDEFoqeEwuhjB4= =5duP -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ***************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the text 'unsubscribe gnhlug' in the message body. *****************************************************************
