Ah, this must be fairly new then.....(well, I say fairly new but I haven't 
used up2date in quite a while now). Can it handle multiple repositories do 
you know?

Right, but RedHat still hasn't released the code to their up2date server 
right? The last I heard from RH was that you could setup your own server 
but that you needed to write a check first (I think it was at least five 
zeros on the check, though it may have been six)

Right, this is what apt does on Debian as well. It knows the dependencies 
of a package and can fetch and install them itself, provided the 
repository has the correct versions present.
