the fact is that no spanish translated module used that form, just
"ordinal_number de mes de año", I asked if you faced the problem or
 not. That's all. :)
for example in gnome-shell spanish this string:

msgid "%B %d %Y, %H∶%M"
is translated as:
msgstr "%d de %B de %Y, %H∶%M"
