Ja està, he posat els valors que comenteu...

Sí, és la sintaxi correcta. Vol dir que quan el cardinal és "1" es fa
servir msgstr[0] (1!=1 dóna 0), i quan és diferent d'"1" es fa servir
msgstr[1]  (2!=1 dóna 1). Per al català és senzill, però hi ha idiomes
amb regles més complicades.
