regarding the blog, please note you had one here in 2013 announcing the end of the distribution https://www.fsf.org/blogs/licensing/upcoming-changes-for-ututo and then corrected mentioning it was just changin maintainer. I suspect some communication happened in there, but then the new maintainer hasn't yet given any sign of activity yet. ciao
