Both you and he have spent several years continually disparaging, perhaps even slandering, many people in the free software field, including Richard Stallman and Eben Moglen. That can have a price. What Alex T has now grasped is that slandering people and things in the free software field isn't just a harmless game. It damages not only feelings, but reputations and even profits. If he, for whatever reason, becomes some sort of "quoted legal expert", his head is well above the sandbags. My post about AT was NOT "behind his back"; it was in a place where I fully expected him to see it, which indeed he did. It was not libel, since it was not false. Note that Alex posted it here on this mailing list twice in full without passing any comment on it, or challenging anything said in it. > You don't believe in equal rights huh? Oh, I do. But I understand that with rights come responsibilities and obligations. I also believe in "equal responsibilities"; something which probably is outside your comprehension. >> ? No? For the gander, yes, but not for the cockroach. > Sincerely, > Rjack -- Alan Mackenzie (Nuremberg, Germany). _______________________________________________ gnu-misc-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnu-misc-discuss
