Julie, I don't know of a way to  turn it off, but maybe you could get
creative with the Payee? I've started to do things like "Amazon-Tools",
"Amazon-Personal" and "Amazon-refund" -- more typing to find a unique
match, but easier to find what I want. It doesn't lessen the list, until
there is more typing, unfortunately.
