If you use Linux, there can be an issue with webkitgtk that can result
in blank reports. Starting Gnucash with compositing disabled for
webkitgtk will usually fix the blank report problem. Use the following
command in a terminal to start Gnucash and see if the problem is corrected:
WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 gnucash
(Or WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 flatpak run org.gnucash.GnuCash if
you use flatpak)
If that allows you to see the reports, then setting the environmental
variable "WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1" will fix it.
Plenty of discussion on this in the email archives.

I believe you have found it! I was able to print to a PDF file and
see my report!
And yes, my laptop does have an Nvidia Graphics Card. Does anyone
here know the secret work around?

Your next instruction says Selected View-Filter By. I take this to mean
Select View-Filter By so I do that. The share draft register is open
and has the focus of GC. I select my date range. Leaving this little
range selection open, I Select Reports - Account Report and it does
open
a tab called Register but it is blank. So I went back and started
over,
called up Filter By. It stil showed the set up, so I clicked OK at the
bottom. Blank screen.
Hmm. sounds like the correct sequence of steps to me, Jerry. The
"filter
by..." step is kinda optional...but that is the correct way to
date-limit the
report. if you can see transactions in the Share Draft Account
register tab,
the Account Report should pick them up.
I wonder.....Long shot....
Some Linux systems with some Nvidia graphics cards have a weird
interaction
that leads to reports being shown completely blank.
follow the steps again, but then from the "blank" report tab, try
printing the
report to a PDF file. Then see if that PDF has any content. If it
does, then
someone on here will be able to adivse a cheat to work around the
glitch.
HTH,
Maf.
