David,
Geoff is referring to "File > Export > Export Active Register to CSV" as
an option instead of using the HTML export of the Account Report when
viewing Find results. (because allegedly, Numbers.app doesn't like
importing the HTML file as a table, but will of course take CSV)
OpenOffice can do the HTML import, but Geoff doesn't like the result.
(not sure of the process being used to do that import, I'm still
awaiting an answer on that count.)
When that is clicked, the pop-up to configure that export is no longer
showing up. There appears to be a window stacking or geometry issue.
Regards,
Adrien

Unfortunately the only option is to first import into
LibreOffice/OpenOffice/Excel, then export as a CSV and then import that
into Numbers. HTML from 5.17 imported to LibreOffice works fine, at
least on Linux, after you delete the document headers once it is
imported
