Hi,

If you can get the HTML file, have you tried renaming the file extension to
`.xls` and then importing it into Numbers? I tried that, and it looks like it’s
working for me.

Might be worth giving it a try.

Subject: Re: [GNC] File Export Problems

Hmmm.

Let me make it as clear as I can.

The HTML file is fine and I can bring it into Open Office (but not well
rendered for use) and safari and even text edit which renders it as a full page
report similar to the starting point in GnuCash. However that is not my
problem.

Because Numbers (my preferred spreadsheet) does not import html direct, I need
to get it into Numbers via a csv file. I have described what happens on my
machine when I try to export the current register to csv and have searched high
and low on all desktops on both monitors including using the “show all windows”
function but the dialog box that I assume should show up is not there.

The best guess is it is hiding underneath the report tab itself as (as
previously mentioned) the edge of the window flickers when I try to export the
information. Do you need more information on my system to try to replicate it?
Should I do a screen capture video to try to show it?

Updating to the latest version has not cured the problem and I still cannot
export the current register as a csv file.
