I am trying to install Nexenta on a system to test. I have been running Debian for 9 years, so once I get it installed I should be all set. Hardware is a Core 2 Duo, Abit IP35 Pro, Nvidia 8800 GTX, PS/2 mouse and keyboard through a KVM.
The problem is that the install hangs during boot, before the Debian installer runs. When booting with -kd and using moddebug/W 80000000 I see the modules scroll by until it gets to: installing uhci, module id 93. That is where it hangs. F1-A breaks into the debugger, but I have no idea what to do there. Any ideas? Is there a list of hardware that is known to work? Thanks, Omen -- T-Shirt saying: Don't ask me any questions. I just might tell you the truth. _______________________________________________ gnusol-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/gnusol-users
