Great work, Joao! I agree with Rahul about these proliferating international conferences. The official academic world keeps raising qualifications -- degrees, papers published, conferences attended, etc -- for everything, which looks very quality-conscious, but without addressing the many shortfalls and general rottenness of the system. The result, like everywhere else, is all kinds of open fraud and fakery to make the grade, for hefty payment, of course.
