Hi Bosco I found your comments interesting. I do not believe that the idea of "a rock solid Christian moral code" has been persuasive to Goanetters generally, and I am rather bored that perhaps just two guys are unsuccessfully flogging a dead horse on this theme.
When Gandhi, on a visit to the UK, a long time ago, was asked what he thought of British civilisation, he simply responded that, "it would be a good idea." Likewise, I'd like to suggest to any proponents of the "rock solid Christian moral code" etc, that it definitely would be a good idea. At present, it only exists rather fragmentally and is frequently 'transgressed' by most of the membership. Some transgressions are monumentally huge and persistent and I identified some obvious ones in previous posts. Perhaps, rather than "a rock solid moral code", we do have instead, rock solid fossilised grey cells. I first suggest this to Elizabeth who immediately expressed the view that they could indeed be carbon dated!!
