Dear Roland & Mervyn, In this connection I also want to say that strong bonds between the Parsi and Goan also existed in the Gulf. Whether these were carried on from those that existed in Bombay, or whether the Parsi felt a natural inclination to bond with another diasporic figure, I do not know. Parsi bosses almost invariably had a fondness for that very quintessence of Goan professionalism in the Gulf, the Goan secretary.
