BC reminded of the one who was player and later coach of the Goa men's or women's team. He's Redanto (don't know if I got the spelling right) who played as goalkeepr in the men's team.
People like Aniceto had sport close to their hearts. However, the operative word here is "power". Bandodkar and Sashikala were titular heads, just as some people in Mumbai, including one Goan, the late Magistrate Luis Cordeiro who was chosen president of Bombay Hockey Association. It's for the Sports Authority of Goa to refocus on Goa's hockey, and bring it to live if it's not dead yet. Eugene
